Óscar Casas is the protagonist of this new original series from atresplayer. El gran salto chronicles the life of Olympic champion Gervasio Deferr, his path to Olympic success, and his fall to hell. The other actors in the cast are Olivia Baglivi, Pau Roca, Greta Fernández, Alfons Nieto, Joaquín Daniel, Carolina Román, Bea Segura, Beka Lemonjawa, Christian Checa, Fran Berenguer, Lucía Juárez, Carlus Fàbrega, Pep Ambròs, Nausicaa Bonnin, Carla Linares, Salim Daprincee and Anna Carreño.

The new atresplayer series will have five chapters of 50 minutes each. Its filming will take place in locations in Barcelona. José Rodríguez is the creator and screenwriter, based on the biography that Deferr recounts in his book of the same name. Roger Gual is the director. This new original fiction by atresplayer will be available for premium users of the Atresmedia platform.
